been going there for 50 years and about time it came into the real would ,good on them for the up grades .I would have a crew on working daily to remove some of the old infrastructure that clutters the place old pipes sticking out old fences falling down even while waiting for the railway looking at the back wall of the shop there is just so much old stuff that spoils the new effect they are trying to achieve.Being in the amusement game for 40 years I can see that sometimes the small things are missed due to lack of looking at them .But good job on the up grades and they could tell more of a story about the mine at the bottom ,it would make an interesting talk for older people .I have had a theme park before and many semi mounted type rides and people love to talk .it adds to the day out and makes them feel like they have had value for money and will tell others about their day there

Very crowded and noisy, with lots of tour groups and tour guides on the tracks

Long cues especially during school holidays

Over Easter Scenic World was extremely crowded. Booking online was essential just to get in and there was a delay until we could start our planned day.

Make sure to get tickets online before turning up. we had to wait for 25 mins in sun in 37degrees just to get inside the building to start the long line-up process all over again in order to get on one of the transports (cable car, sky tram & rail). Then repeat the whole long line-up wait all over again to get back to top. (25mins to get to cable car then another 20 mins waiting for the cable car to actually arrive) It was a busy time of year, but the whole place is woefully unable to cope with the crowds in holiday times. A great place to avoid unless you have tickets for the very beginning of the day.
