More importantly, we felt like a welcomed part of the community from the moment we met our driver who transported us to the hotel ( shoutout to Moloka'i Outdoors) to check in through our stay. The nightly local musicians at the restaurant were all wonderful and the view of the sunset is awe inspiring!"

"I arrived at night and didn’t realize there wasn’t a front desk. My phone had no signal, so I couldn’t make a call. A guy who lived there was outside and let me borrow his phone, so I was then able to call and get instructions. There was apparently a key box, and they gave me the code. "Beautiful, peaceful and serene location. Be award that if the country sounds of roosters crowing will bother you- stay somewhere else. We enjoyed them, they are a part of our farm at home. You couldn’t ask for a more accommodating Host, in Annie. She was always available and willing to help with needs and answer questions. The Unit itself is eclectic and shows her vibrant personality in the colors on the walls! There is a need for a few upgrades that would help raise the level of comfort. Side...

"My husband and I throughly enjoyed our first time on Molokai. It feels like Hawaii from 1950! Even though we could not visit Kalaupapa (closed by National Park Service) we felt there were plenty of things to do. We found great beaches, especially Papohaku Beach, and the whale watching was incredible from the condo's wonderful second-story balcony. Every morning we sat on the balcony with breakfast and watched the whales dance. The condo is a bit dated, but is well appointed, with good kitchen...

"We wanted to venture to Molokai for the history and to see the Island. The people were all fantastic. the Molokai Burger and a little cafe had great food "

"Slow drain in bathtub, there was ankle deep water before the water got hot for my shower. No air conditioning. There was A Lot of highway noise as we had to open up all the windows to get cooler air into the room. Early morning chickens were also quite in evidence. Very good restaurant on site. The bed was large and comfortable. "

"Everything was very fine except for the loft beds. At our age, the first floor bed was too small and getting to the loft beds was tricky (had to climb a ladder to a low ceiling bedroom. Other than that surprise, all was great."
