"Quiet cultural experience. We were the only foreigners we could see. Beautiful property, view and area. Not a lot of places to visit but enough for 1-2 days. FYI This property is not at the Nikko city but the Nikko area. Large buffet and free drinks. Beds on the floor and daughter was really on the floor but all part of experience. If you want a quiet experience away from the city then this is great- even better with small children as has a pool park next door. "

"I loved the villa that we stayed in. It was very spacious and clean. The bathrooms were very luxurious with a soaking tub, sauna and hotspring water. The place is a bit far to walk to from the station if you have bags, so taking a taxi for a few minutes from the station is a better option. "

"Feels very upmarket from the entrance all the way to the room. The Japanese room I stayed in felt extremely large; like a 5-star hotel in Tokyo. "This place is falling apart at the seams. The property is old and musty with bugs. The food was passable but it’s one of very few choices in the area.
