"The cottage was perfect for our overnight needs. The kitchen was modern, clean and well-stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and we loved eating a home-cooked meal on the deck. The night bugs were out when the sun went down so we didn’t spend time on the porch after dinner. The water views were lovely - we just wish we had more time to swim! The owner was in contact quickly with lots of useful information. The property is in a neighborhood that is fairly remote. We stopped in Kawhia for dinner supplies. I would recommend this cottage for a peaceful stay with beautiful views. "

"Been to Kawhia a few times and stayed at the camp grounds. With parents wanting to join I wanted to find somewhere close and homey! Excellent central location, all the ammenities and relaxing atmosphere. Perfect for escaping the busy city life. "
