"This property was beyond our expectations. It is located in the otherworldly Alabama Hills nestled between the eastern Sierra Nevadas and the Inyo mountains. There are amazing opportunities for hiking including the stunning Mt. Whitney trail. We even took a day trip to Death Valley. The property abuts a cattle ranch and has views of the mountains from every direction. Lydia could not have been a more attentive host and the amenities were expertly curated. We are already planning our next stay. Thank you for four days in paradise. "

"This is a very unique hotel experience in the desert, which I absolutely loved. The manager, Alice, was also the cook and waitress. She was so friendly, and we had great conversations during my stay. The room was recently renovated and was very comfortable. I liked the porch, where I could sit and look at the mountains and the desert. I kind of wish I stayed in a teepee."
