"What a truly great experience. Having been in Keene Valley in the same house 50 years ago, it was a pleasure to see it being cared for and run and such a beautiful way. Kelly, the manager, couldn’t have been More delightful. Preparing breakfast and always there for questions or advice on where to go out to dinner or tge next mountain to climb.. "We were in the area for a ski competition and have truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We felt totally at home. The room was clean and decorated nicely. The room had a great entrance with a cubby for ski gear and bags as well as a boot tray for wet shoes. The breakfast was deliciously homemade. We had dinner at their restaurant and the food was so good it felt like we had a home cooked meal. "

"Our family stayed here on a ski trip to Whiteface. The hotel is across the street from the mountain and is a great base camp, especially when you’re skiing with kids and have a lot to prep/do to get ready! We were here during a very large snow storm and the driveway was plowed and accessible even with the constant snow dumping! Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice base camp away and will spending most of your time outdoors. Beautiful view of the mountain! "
