"Great hotel and although not spanking new it has the most fabulous location on banks of Derwentwater and is super dog friendly, Keswick town just a 20min walk away. Fresh decor in bedroom and super comfortable bed.Lovely staff especially Sue, breakfast and bar meals were good. "Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Staff were very welcoming.Room was fine just a little warm so just left the widow open a little. Toilets & showers were clean. Kitchen was great. Breakfast was okay wouldve been better if the bacon / hash browns were warmer. Good for a hungry person as they give you more if you ask. Had very noisy neighbours but thats not the staffs fault just very thoughtless people that obviously thought they had the whole building to themselves."
