"A real genteel old fashioned hotel with old fashioned service. We were greeted by Anthony for our very delayed check in after 11am with a smile and friendly assistance with parking (a very reasonable $5 per night at a public parking multi story nearby). Rooms are old fashioned but comfortable with all amenities you could need. It certainly was a change from the motels we've so far been using on our trip and we were very happy. "

"Comfortable anf spacious room. Staff were pleasant and helpful, and food was excellent. We were impressed by the inclusive employment policy in the restaurant. The only shortcoming was that the restaurant kitchen closed fairly early and we could not get a reservation when we rang from the sirport at 7.45pm, with an ETA of 8.30pm, even though dining was advertised as being open 'until late'. "
