"Our family has been coming to Kiawah for 30 years so we’ve stayed in many houses. Even though this is one of the oldest homes, it’s very clean and well maintained. We loved the vintage charm and appreciate the history of the house. If you’re looking for close access to the beach, you can’t go wrong. It has its own private boardwalk right behind the house. A few other bonuses include newer appliances, a walk-in shower and plenty of parking space. The owner was very helpful and easy to communicate with."

"We booked a last minute weekend getaway to the beach! This was a great villa at Kiawah Island. We really enjoyed the villa and the short walk to the beach! We also enjoyed the scenic view from the villa. We had a Great Blue Heron that stayed by the pond right out side the back of the villa. The furnishing and well-stocked kitchen were great! It was a short trip, but fun and enjoyable! We look forward to booking this villa again and hopefully planning on staying longer next time, but if not, we will return for another long weekend getaway!"
