"I loved it. I was a little early for check in and my room was ready and i was even up graded. I had a lovely stay. Quiet and comfy sleep. Shower was hot and had really nice shapoo and wash. "

"A quirky hotel , which reminded me of a hostel in the lobby area ! Free drink on arrival ! Room was nice and clean the bed was comfy ! Lovely shower and nice and quiet area ! Would stay again !! "

"Lovely hotel. Room was very clean and had very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great- lovely choice of juices. Only downside was we couldn't get served at the bar after our night out. We wanted a drink before going up to our room but waited around 15 minutes until deciding, after asking others around if they'd been served yet, to return to our room. Shame because the bar area looked very inviting. "

"Good hotel. Staff were friendly and amenities were good also. Breakfast was nice but the bar food was ok not great. For the cost of the evening meal it would probably be worth while eating out."

"Liked the property, very handy location for everything we wanted to do during our trip. Complimentary breakfast had great options, hot and cold, the winner for our son was the waffle machine! Staff at reception could have been a bit more friendly but service was fine, staff at breakfast were lovely. Room was fine but a little cramped for 3 of us with limited storage for luggage/ belongings. Very clean though and beds were comfortable. "

"Modern great value hotel in walking distance from centre of York. Parking is excellent. You pay £17 you can leave car there before check in and the whole next day even after checking out. Great flexibility on parking. Only gripes were that check in took 15 to 20 minutes. Also the bed in the room was so hard that i struggled to sleep. Much prefer a premiere inn bed. Shame had these two things been different it would have been 10 / 10. "

"1st visit in 21 years! Pleasant stay, staff very helpful. Rooms could probably do with some updating, but aside from that we were very happy with using this as a base following a resounding, comfortable win for Millwall over Leeds in the FA Cup!!!"

"Romantic valentines stay, nice welcome at check in, wonderful room. Love hotels location. The Sky Lounge cocktail rooftop bar is fab, and The Lock Restaurant on ground floor was great. Highly recommend this hotel."
