"I couldn’t believe how beautiful this property is and the attention to detail was impeccable. Even the lounge area with cappuccino, latte, pastries, etc. were a pleasant surprise. It’s in the perfect location too, we walked everywhere without any problems."
"The location of this property is amazing. Literal steps from the Royal Mile and a fantastic pub right next door. Rooms worked well and were clean, and the kitchen provided essentials for anything you’d need. Definitely recommend! "
"Outstanding apartment. Comfy bed, large bathroom with great shower and tub. Lots of artwork around. Excellent location close to stores and restaurants and the Picardy Place tram stop. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Edinburgh."

"I cannot fault the Fingal hotel in any way. Booked this as part of our mini moon after getting married in Scotland and it really lived up to expectations. From the moment we walked in, the staff were friendly and engaging, giving us tips on sights and restaurants in the area. The room itself (luxury cabin) was perfect for us, tastefully decorated and with a door going onto the deck upfront. We both slept really well and the mattress quality was excellent. The breakfast was divine, so many options to pick from and all executed perfectly. Special shout out to the staff at breakfast who were so cheerful and made it effortless to pick whatever we wanted from the menu. We had dinner on board the first night and it is truly fine dining, our plates were like pieces of art. One final fabulous feature of the boat is its elevator, which again, is tastefully designed in keeping with the rest of the interior as well as being spacious. I’m already planning when I can return to this wonderful hotel!"
"Bare-bones and basic but clean and afforable. The access to a shared kitchen is great. The wifi is strong, the rooms are exactly what you would expect from a dorm. The staff were kind and friendly. Good access to the buses and to the grocery store nearby. "
"Outside of Edinburgh, but easy to get to by bus or tram. Rooms were elegant and spacious, and every interaction with a staff member was professional and friendly."
