"Very comfortable and well appointed condo. The kitchen was well stocked with every pot, pan or utensil one would ever need. The view was awesome. Tony was very responsive and a delight to work with! It was difficult to leave, but I hope to come back soon!!"

"Beautiful & peaceful retreat with plenty to do. Hot tub, pool table and fooseball definitely got a workout. Little chilly for the pool but we tried. Lol. Lots of space to spread out. Will definitely vacation here again."

"A great little older beach motel. Easy walk to the beach near the back of the property and restaurants within walking distance too. The village is small and mostly residential, yet there is a Food Lion and several restaurants and shops within a mile or so. "

"This is a perfect mix of boutique hotel and vacation rental. Interior is modern and clean, with lots of space. High end finishes, and very comfortable. The wellness deck is very nice, overlooking the sound for great sunsets. Our suite was adjacent, with a small private deck. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. This was a perfect base for exploring the area, and then come back to a comfortable and clean cocoon."

"Within a minute of being here we realized this home was loved and had been lived in. It immediately felt like home. Furniture comfy, although one bed was a bit soft. Beautiful art and touches. We tried to love it as much as the owners did. Rough walking over dunes for the pups, they picked up some prickly briars so we drove onto beach rest of week. Location was great! Avon is always a good location on Hatteras Island. We hope to stay here next year as well. The management company was...

"Property was wonderful! Communication with online Vacasa folks was not optimal to resolve wifi going down due to maintenance in the building below, but the property manager drove out DURING A STORM! and resolved personally. That's why the 5 stars."

Lunasea - Stunning 6 Bedroom Hatteras Island Home

Summer vacation

"We enjoyed our week long stay. The house, pool, and spa were clean. The pool and spa were well cared for throughout the week. The walk to the beach was short and convenient. The size of the house accommodated our needs. The WiFi was spotty throughout the house; otherwise everything was as expected. I do agree with some of other reviews posted- the pots and pans are old, and it would be nice to have chairs available for those coming from a distance."

Short stay

"Property was as advertised. Dining table is a pool table. Flip over top and can play table tennis. Only aspect not appreciated was toilet in Master bedroom has no door. But we knew this going in and managed just fine with the floor plan."
