"Lovely property with great staff. The rooms are gorgeous, traditional design. The only negatives being some of the rotting woodwork, such as the sunbed boats, and railing round the main restaurant. Whilst there has been a general lack of upkeep there, Santhiya is still a lovely property for peace and quiet and id recommend it !"

"We stayed at the Bay for 3 nights before the full moon party. First impressions were good: the rooms are colorful, the location is good, the food was great, and the staff were welcoming. "We really enjoyed this small hotel complex. Very family feel and very welcoming. The location is great as directly on the beach for sunset cocktails. The trees grow virtually on the water's edge and the branches fall close to the ground giving the beach a feel of compartments of privacy. The walk into town in the evenings isn't particularly well lit but other than this a very nice place to stay and would certainly return. "

"In the morning of the day of check-in, we got a message from this hotel telling us they are undergoing “construction” and don’t know what when will finish. Said they had put us in their sister hotel - Koh Ma Resort - “which is more expensive” They give us no choice at that point, as we cannot cancel on the day of check-in. In Koh Ma everything was closed and only one restaurant available,which the hotel restaurant. It was so depressing... nothing to do at all. "
