This resort was Soooo nice. The staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. They upgraded us to one of the dome rooms on the beach which was clean and lovely. Every meal we ate in the restaurant was delicious. The swings and suspended beds out front really were a godsend and were the perfect place to while away the hours on the beach. This place was perfect in every way!

Very nice and unique hotel. Private and quite perfect for a romantic getaway or just to disconnect. They offer free kayaks and can arrange other activities around the island. Great service and attentiveness and flexibility of staff. Clean space and beach the hotel maintains the beachfront well. There are a few restaurants and a convenience store nearby and overall a very chill atmosphere

Such a great spot to stay in Koh Ring Sanloen! Near the ferry and far enough away from the busy area where’s there’s solitude ! Highly recommend this beautiful stay!

Pure paradise wonderful experience!
It's pure paradise- the best place to stay on the island as we walked around and seen many other places. The idea of Moonlight Resort and round domes with window in the ceiling so you can see stars and are woke up by sun is excellent and something to remember forever. We are so happy to be there in the low season when it was so quiet that we felt almost alone with the whole paradise just for ourselves:) The service is very polite and nice, 5* -thank you so much for upgrading our reservation so we could enjoy a dome. The common area with big swing lounges, palm trees and jacuzzi is so beautiful and perfectly arranged that you don't feel like going anywhere, it's perfect:) The location is also great -close to the main pier and 'downtown' of Saracen Bay, but beautiful quiet part of the beach and next to the path to the Lazy beach. The resort serves wide selection of delicious breakfasts and has good restaurant and you can eat in beautiful surronding next to the sea. Free taxi boat transfers you from and to the ferry. It's one of the most beautiful places I've ever been- strongly recomend. After busy season it just needs a bit maintance and paint to glow again which is probably planned now in low season.

Exceptional service
Exceptional service which never stopped. I've been positively surprised so many times by the high level of service in Moonlight Resort. As well the location is great and I was upgraded to a dome which looked amazing. I had a great experience during my stay and would most definitely come back again!

A Unique Vibe
A really lovely stay on a very special beach. Glad I stayed somewhere with a unique vibe. A couple of the domes had some graffiti on them which was odd, not sure why that hadn't been covered over and glad I didn't stay in one of those. My one needed a lick of pain and a few repairs but nothing to detract and would recommend it.

Stunning private resort! We booked family villa with private jacuzzi that came with 2 rooms. Each rooms had one king size bed and 2 pullout twin beds under them. It’s perfect for 2 families of 8 people. The resort is in a perfect location surrounded by lush trees, white sand beach, and calm ocean. The water was so warm, just perfect for December tropical weather. The hotel also provided paddle board, kayak, and snorkeling that we used without extra charge. Front desk staff and restaurant employees made our vacation even more special! They were very professional and super friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel like we have the resort booked just for us. Lunch and dinner at the resort were always amazing. The hotel staff set up a nice romantic new year eve dinner for us with a fireworks. Not to mention their amazing drinks, our favorite was Welcome drink with Rum. Thank Moonlight Resort crews for a relaxing and memorable vacation! I highly recommend Moonlight Resorts to everyone!

If you are looking peace alone, or with family and loved ones. Moonlight resort is the palce to be. Zero hustle and bustle of crowds. Very laid back and easy. Read a book, swim, or just sit on the beach napping. Ioved it. Just what i needed on this trip after working so hard.

I booked 2 nights and ended up staying almost a month! I loved this hotel. The dome room was unique and unbelievable. It was immaculate and clean inside. The staff here were very helpful and consistently clean the beach and hotel area. I loved getting massages onsite and how peaceful this hotel was. Total paradise! I will be back.

A great stay!
This is a great resort if you want to chill out for a couple of days on the beach. The deluxe rooms are spacious and the outdoor bathroom is an experience! Breakfast was good, plenty of options. An added bonus to the resort is the free usage of kayaks and paddle boards! Appreciated the boat service too and from the main pier. Staff are really friendly and made us feel welcome.

So picturesque! Quiet end of the beach. Party and night life 8-10min walk if you want it. Helpful staff and the food and drinks were good. If you like beach swings, this is the destination for you!

The hotel is under threat of closure and it shows. For lunch it would be better to have a menu that shows what they actually have to avoid disappointment. The evening meal was unpredictable, sometimes great sometimes awful. Luckily there is a great place next door. Nobody seems to care. The place is lifeless and neglected. Sadly I have to say go elsewhere.

The staff here were excellent, I emailed before I came to ask about transport from Sihanoukville airport to the venue and they were great at sorting it all out for me from the taxi to the boat over! Really great! The resort is lovely and unique and just away from the main stretch to be quiet. The paddle boards and kayaks were great to use too. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast of fruit, breads and other choices was great. Brilliant overall

- Beliggenheden er rigtig god, lidt tilbage trukket fra stranden, så det føltes lidt mere privat end de andre steder, hvilket var dejligt. - maden var god. - Rengøring af værelserne var rigtig gode. - stedet trænger snart til en renovering eller vedligholdelse - manglende rengøring af fælles områder, stier til værelser var godt beskidte hver dag. - der er ingen service ved solstolene. Da vi så går op og vil bestille, siger han sp at han sender en ned til os så vi kan bestille, de kommer så efter 10-15 min.. og nu var vi jo alligevel gået op til baren. - Det er alt alt for dyrt i forhold til stand og service - den ene dag ville vi have pizza samt shakes, begge ting havde de ikke da deres blender ting var gået i stykker samt ovnen også var i stykker.

The staff consistently got our requests wrong, or just forgotten about. The shower is basically non existent with the bad water pressure. It is clean though. The whole place is pretty run down and needs to be renovated.

Enjoyed our stay at Moonlight, it is perfectly fine if a little expensive for the island. Rooms and bar/restaurant are good. Pools are tiny and a bit pointless.

Best hotel in the island
We had a lovely stay here! We booked 2 nights and actually wanted to extend but they were fully booked! We booked a standard room and got upgraded to the dome for no extra charge (it was great!). The room has awesome natural light, recommend. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We also had other meals there and can say they have a good restaurant. The beach area is super relaxing and the swings on the trees make for great photos and relaxation ;) Stay here, you won't regret it.

We stayed 4 nights in 2 dome rooms. Cons: We requested pickup from the pier but when we arrived there was no one meeting us. We even got this confirmed that they would meet us days before arrival. There was no massage service as advertised The WiFi in the rooms was not stable and slow, roomservice did not pick up dirty plates/coffe cups we had to tell them and after 2 days. The staff was not very helpful and gave you the angry eye when you ask for anything. For the high price we paid we expected better service and a nicer place, the place also needs some general maintenance for example the sunbeds looked like they came directly from the garbage. Pros: The dome room was cool to stay in and spacious. The pizza and the food we had from the restaurant was fine Location is good but if you looking for the best white beach this is not the place, it's very relaxing and quiet. The fresh smell from the bathroom after every cleaning was nice

SO clean. So fresh. So comfortable. Their menu was top notch to meet any expectations for western and local Khmer cuisine. They definitely make the extra effort to see that you are taken care of and can relax 100%. They even did something special for our daughter's birthday at dinner and decoration in her room.

I enjoyed my stay. The water, beach and scenery are amazing on Koh Rong Sanloem. Moonlight staff was great. The location is down the beach away from the main restaurants and bars, which makes it nice and quiet. Definitely family friendly and relaxing. On the downside, the food was just OK. I only ate lunch there once, and the breakfast because it was included. I ate the rest of my meals elsewhere.

Beautiful location, white sand beach, crystal clear water, easy walk to restaurants along the beach, the rooms are unique have plenty of space for a couple and are well spaced to ensure for a quiet relaxing experience. Similarly the breakfast tables are also well spaced along with a couple of gazebo structures and beach chairs help the place feel quiet relaxing.

Nice location on the island. Rooms in need of some TLC our room the floor tiles were lifting up , bathroom door only hanging on one hinge. Breakfast very poor regardless of what you ordered it came with the same on the side ie spinach, tinned mushrooms and what was supposed to be hash brown was cake and served cold. Western manager really not very helpful to the staff, rude and not interested in talking to customers when you had a problem. Overpriced and wouldn’t choose to stay again. The one resort next door is 100% better in all ways.

A comfortable stay in a lovely location.
We loved our stay at Moonlight resort - a really different style from others on the island. Room was spacious and comfortable with good bed linen , good size beach towels , umbrella (needed unfortunately !) and loved the snug area with the day bed. Breakfast was good quality and a good choice for different nationalities. Staff were attentive and friendly. Good location on the beach with the boat pick up from the ferry pier making arrival and departure very easy, Yes the domes need repainting and also I think the lounger cushions aren’t in good condition. Minor points but worth the management attending too. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Better than others. We stayed in the Dome room. The outside of the dome had green on it and some of the windows had cracks and there was no hot water. There was no cable only a hard drive with old movies to watch. I kept count we lost power 5 times in our 3 day stay during which it rained endlessly for 3 days straight. On the better note the staff was the best and took care of you with anything you needed even offered free speedboat rides to and from the island

The property is right in the beach which is amazing. You simple can’t get enough of the view. We stayed in igloo-like dome with a beautiful round design. The room inside is spacious with big bed. Every villa has a small terrace with sun beds and tables and you can access the beach right from there. They provide a hard drive with movies to watch, as they have no tv channels. There were only families and couples staying here, so it was quite in general. BE AWARE FOR INSECTS! There are a lot of insects in the beach (moscitos and sand flies), there are uv lamps in the room as well as insect spray, but they still get inside of the apartment. One day we had even a small lizard in the room. Restaurant is quite good with long list of options. Almost everything we tried was delicious (mussels, pizzas) with some misses (crabs - small and no meat). Breakfast was not a buffet, as in most places, but has to be pre-ordered from the list with quite few options. Breakfast may leave a big man quite empty. In general, the service in the restaurant was sometimes very slow. Although the food was prepared prepared quite quickly, we often waited a lot to get the bill and get plates taken away. At times, at lunch, nobody was even to be found out in the restaurant. The resort in general has some signs of decay (yellow stains in the swimming pool, stains in the inside and outside walls of igloos). Overall, we liked the resort, but it need a bit work to make it perfect.

Over priced and needs urgent attention
Ruined our trip to Cambodia staying at Moonlight Resort for Christmas as there were so many problems for which I am still awaiting an explanation for and compensation but am continually being ignored by the owner. To keep it brief these are the problems we experienced and also watched other guests having similar problems which were totally unexceptable for the extortionate price we paid. No hot water in room No WiFi in room No electric in room for 2/3 hours per day Generator broke so one day no electric for eight hrs. TV - films cut off after 1 hour so don’t get end of film Leaking roof in Restaurant area Plunge pools not working No parasols with sun beds on beach Suitcases taken by boat to ferry and got wet so arrived at next hotel with wet clothes
