"The staff was very courteous respectful and very helpful. I forgot my phone in a yellow taxi and the hotel chief security officer went out of his way to recover the phone. Kudos to him. Highly recommend this hotel."

"This is a very beautiful historical property. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping was on top of making sure the room was clean along with water, tea, and coffee stocked daily. Bicky is amazing at taking care of the room and makes sure everything is perfect when he cleans the room. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again for future visits to Kolkata."
"Very poor staff and services. Rooms are small, with poor quality amenities, dirty towels, and stained and dirty bedsheets. Breakfast was below average with equally poor service by the staff.
Not at all a 4-star hotel. Not recommended. "

"Excellent hotel and nice and courteous staff. Enjoyed every moment of my stay. The breakfast variety/selection was on the mediocre side, but still it was good enough."
