There were a couple issues like one of the upstairs showers not working and the water from the fridge was a bit slimey, but we were able to work around these. I never received a reply in the beginning about getting an earlier check in, so going to keep that in mind for next time we book our stay. 5PM is quite late to check in when coming from Calgary and staying just for the weekend! "This place checked all the boxes. Absolutely wonderful. All amenities were there. House able to accommodate our group of 15 without any problems. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked; seasonings, pots, extra settings and much more. Enough seating for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Garage was great for ski equipment, even had 3 boot warmers. "My family of 7 came to Canada from Texas to visit Banff NP, Yoho NP, Kootenay NP and the Icefields Parkway. This cabin was the perfect place to go home to after visiting those very busy but very beautiful parks and lakes. It was completely quiet and restful. The kitchen was incredibly well appointed including an ice cream maker which my son used to make almond ice cream and an instapot which we used to make chili. "Had a great vacation here. House was lovely! Very clean and great spot in the mountains. The ping pong table, fireplace, and hot tub were big hits. Only thing to note is there's only a tv in the basement room and its hard to work so just keep in mind if thats something you want on your trip. It didnt impact us much and owner was great in communicating with us when we had issues. "

The piste (holohike- blue and Holiday - green) are directly over the road so truly ski to door. There is an enormous and well thought out kit room in the garage to remove skis and boots, and a boot warmer so they are ready to go in the morning.
