"Very friendly staff and place is beautiful. It is close to various spots with beautiful nature. Cons: restaurant is overpriced, and be prepared to pay huge taxes on top of what you think you are going to pay. If you are Colombian and you book online, they will tell you that you need to pay a national tax. In my case, it was about 170 USD for a 4 day stay. If you have a foreign passport, male sure to bring it so you get exempt for paying this tax."

"The staff was very kind. The only issue was that q curtan came down and the repair was poor because it felt down again. We stayed in the suit with a private pool that turned out to be a jacuzzi but the jets were not working. The food was good but it’s only vegetarian. The walk to beach is about 15 mins, and the walk to the mains street is about 15 min but at night was very dark so we drove. "

"El Matuy was perfect for a real escape. Situated on a pristine beach, disconnected from the world, with no electricity or wifi for distractions. "Nice venue right on the ocean. But not luxurious. Food is good, free breakfast, but rooms are small, without much other than a bed & bedside tables. No AC but ceiling fan was fine. Worst part by far is the open air disco next door, which blasted music through giant speakers several nights, until 3 in the am. Not great for a good nights sleep. "
