"The host, Katsuhiro-san, is very kind and friendly! He went above and beyond to help us during our stay and had lots of great local recommendations. Thank you so much!!"
"This is a great resort location but a little inconvenient and somewhat isolated. The rooms are spacious and well serviced. There is 24 hour staffing but limited to basic needs. There are no dining options at the location itself and nearby eating options are limited. The hotel offers free entry to a local onsen about 5-10 minute drive from the hotel.
On the plus side, the views from the rooms are spectacular and some rooms offer an outdoor patio. Unfortunately, the hot tub in our patio was...
"Hôtel très bien situé et à côté d’un super sentō que je recommande! La chambre à la japonaise, très petite, suffit pour y séjourner quelques nuits le temps de visiter Matsuyama et ses alentours, je recommande!!"
"Close to Matsuyama station and 10 minutes walk to the restaurant areas. A bit old but the internals have been renewed somewhat and it felt clean enough for us. Free breakfast and large public bath (as well as private bathroom) is also an added bonus. "
"Its a bit far from the station, so the location is not convenient. This hotel is not the typical APA hotel. Its purchased from previous ower. The rooms are not the usual APA standard. "
"A museum by Tado Ando changed for the right reasons into a hotel far away from no where... the air conditioning is so loud that makes you very uncomfortable sleeping with it’s grilling sound. If you’re a golfer, heavy sleeper and wished to stay a night in a museum that’s the place to be"
"This is really an excellent hotel. The breakfast is reasonably priced and really good. There onzen is perfect and very peaceful. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless clean. The room was fairly spacious and very comfortable. "
"The location of this hotel is the best in Matsuyama. Close to the Okaido shopping mall, with Mitsukoshi Department store, and to Matsuyama Castle. Very quiet at night. Clean room and good service. The breakfast buffet is excellent with good view of Matsuyama city."
"Convenient location in the centre of Matsuyama and right in front of the airport shuttle to and from Matsuyama airport. The Okaido tram stop is also right in front so you can get to Dogo Onsen area and Matsuyama castle is just a walk away behind the hotel. Good if you need a hotel that’s easily accessible.
Room was spacious enough and comfortable. My one complaint is you could see dust buildup on the ceiling where the air conditioner blows air. The vent in the washroom was also very dusty....
