"We experienced both the camp (one night) and the lodge (two nights). Compared to its newer, quieter and the more expensive neighbor, the camp was more lively and fun. We liked the staff at the camp better. The good looking front desk girl and the young maintenance guy helped us big time by making us a special power outlet adapter without which I would not be able to use our camera and phones. "Nice place and room. Not on main road. Hotel is located inside and road is bumpy unpaved with no lights. Hard to exit in the morning. Dinner included was good. Room was comfortable, we had a living room. Staff accommodated a take away breakfast, we left at 6 am the 2 nights we stayed here. Safe. It had AC."

"Amazing views at the lodge, and amazing activities. We went on the rhino tracking activity and it was incredible: we saw a rhino mom and her baby, and we actually followed them on foot for a little while. We also loved the guided walk & sundowner drive, which both had unbelievable views. Even sitting on the patio at the lodge, the views were stunning. Highly recommend this place. "We were welcomed warmly, and our needs were quickly anticipated. The rooms were beautifully designed and had views over a waterhole. Muti ensured that we were able to see rhinos in the evening. Food was excellent. It was well worth the drive to the lodge."

"Epacha could be used as an African Lodge in a movie set. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The reception/dining area was enormous with plenty of elegant touches. The staff were as helpful and attentive as they could be. I highly recommend it. Visitors should be aware, though, that Epacha is some distance from Etosha - around 50 kilometres from the Anderson Gate. "

"We had a lovely time at Hobatere, the staff were outstanding, especially Nicco. The room was very clean, and eco friendly and the food was delicious. The only weak spot was the guiding - we went for a game drive and the guide was not knowledgeable and not interested in hearing what the guests wanted to see."

"Stunning lodge a little off the beaten track but so worth the effort! The location by the watering hole with the resident rhino and regular animals is amazing. The staff are fabulous and so helpful. The rooms are total luxury and feel so relaxing to sit and watch the weather and environment. They give you an extra key for the air conditioning as the tent gets hot. Food was very good and plentiful. We loved it - the safari drive was amazing and we saw so many animals- just a sore bottom after 7...

"If you ride to the lodges you think what will this be? After the 8 km sand road you will come in a small oasis with an amazing friendly, helpful, hospitable owner who wants to help you with everything. This is really a gem and you have to visit this place and stay a night."
