Disappointed
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, however the room I got was a shocker especially for what I paid. If it was half that price I couldn't really complain but with a blocked drain, dripping toilet, stinky chemical smell, aircon remote not working (super cold) and inadequate lighting it was not up to scratch. The bed was quite comfy but I had to drag it from the wall to use the third wall socket to charge my phone. The pool was in disrepair and the domestic Indonesian tourists were inconsiderate and noisy at 6.30am, so no sleep ins. Set back from the beach in a tiny lane way it should have been cheaper but it was the end of ramadon so every where was triple the price and booked out. You get what you pay for I suppose, so if you are desperate ask for half the advertised price or check out everything in between.

Dirty linen, towel and bathroom and breakfast really poor (toast, egg and water). Only stayed one night, but it was enough for a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend.

Great hotel and location for the price paid
It was great hotel for the price and location. I will certainly book this hotel again for my solo trip to Bali, no need to rent a motorbike or car, many great spots within walking distance and I didn't have to deal with the traffic jam.

Hotel location is quite stategic
-Hotel staff at reception courteous & helpful -F&B Dept appears under-staff & breakfast services remain much to be desired in particular foods quality, varieties, taste etc. -room cleaning not done on daily basis & bath towel old/ worn out. -bathroom rundown.

Bit run down
While the room is clean - however, the hotel is pretty empty. The room did not have any windows (except to view a wall). On arrival, we had to ask for toilet paper, batteries for the tv remote and mattress protector. The safe in the room did not work. The hotel is centrally located, but of concern is a dark alley that you have to walk down to the hotel from the main street and the mall. It is scary. Good points - were the cleanliness and a nice very cheap restaurant close buy.

Never Again
I would have to say that the Nathan Hotel is the worst hotel I have ever checked. We arrived at around 11pm at night, the hotel is situated in a very dark alley quite far from the main road - I would not recommend anyone walk it alone at night. The reception was badly lit and the staff were sleeping on the floor of the hotel. We were shown our rooms and the condition of the room was disgusting - the paint was peeling off the walls, the shower tiles were mouldy, the towels that once upon a time were white, where black the list goes on forever. So much so that we left our luggage in the room and set off to find accommodation elsewhere, which we eventually found at 4am, whereby we checked out from the Nathan Hotel that morning.

Was pleasently surprised/ releaved.
I had read some pretty scary posts about this hotel, of course after I booked. Was the cheapest hotel in Kuta I could find. But my concerns were unfounded. I was traveling with just my two boys 4 and 10 i was also 16 weeks pregnant. We arrived, we checked in, while we waited we were given fruit drinks as it was a bit warm. Staff showed us to our room. We stayed in 316 a king sized bed enough for us. The air conditioning worked well, it has a brand new mattress, TV, a large wardrobe, small bedside drawers, and a mini fridge. The bathroom is small but had a shower with hot water. Its a outside hotel so some visible ants but nothing bad. Looks they are in the process of renovating, changing out mattresses etc. Overall kids loved the pool and I enjoyed the free wifi. It's is a small walk down a narrow alley, the locals navigate it well enough. Cheap/ friendly comer store and a great little cafe on the last stretch before the main road. ( didn't have a name but when you see it, it has places for seating and a TV. There fried rice and sweet/sour chicken was great. Very cheap. It's about 5 mins from the discovery mall and 7 mins to Waterbom.

Great for the single guy or single women.
Arrived to be greeted by friendly staff. The room itself was clean and the aircon was on. I was happy with my room as I travelled by myself and only needed a bed and bathroom facility's. Breakfast was average so I usually ate out. The swimming pool was good. Close to waterbom and centro shopping centre. Nice restaurants close by.Being a single guy was happy with the position not that far away from Legian street poppy's 1 and 2.

1.we stay 2 nights in that time they have never clean our room. 2.bathroom sink was broken was leaked. 3.pillow was too bog and hard my neck is still sore. 4.staff is very good and polite. at the end i can say that in this cheap price you only can get this.

Motel rather than hotel
Glad we didn't end up staying the night there. Staff were friendly but it took them over half an hour to check us in, apparently they didn't have our reservation on file. Room had a musty odor to it. It's a good place if you're on a tight budget. It would be better classified as a motel rather than a hotel. Wifi not available in the rooms, you have to use it in the lobby.

WHAT A DUMP
DONT LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU!!!!! This would have to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in Bali! The Room smelled of mould and dampness, sheets were dirty, found hairs under the dooner, bathroom dirty, towels dirty, No hot water! Complained and requested to be moved to another room. Unfortunatly that did not help as the other room was just as discusting as the first room !!!!!!! The staff did genualy try to help, but could not do much, as the Hotel is in very poor condition and not managed correctly. Requested to speak to the Duty Manager, was advised he went home. I booked this Hotel for 2 nights, but only stayed 1!!! Checked out the next morning ... went to a different Hotel!!!!! Could not stay another day and night at such a DUMP!!!!

Reasonable price hotel in Kuta area, Bali
The Nathan Hotel is a 4 floor-building hotel located on small road, around 300 meters away from the main road. it's rather old but is kept quite clean. Not a good and not a comfort hotel. Upon comparing to another hotel in the same area, it is reasonable when think of price. There is a free transportation for dinner to the Jimberan area of the famous seaside seafood restaurants.

Where not to stay!
Booked 2 rooms, 1 for me and husband and other for 3 kids, 20, 17(boy) & 10, confirmed twice that we would get correct rooms, when we arrived were told couldn't have room with 3 beds, kids would have to share double bed????? After a long few hours of sorting out were given 3 rooms, great, but in morning were told could only have 2 rooms. We were told we could have extra bed put in kids room, fine. When they brougt bed in, it was a mattress on the floor!!!! Had to move rooms 3 times as they smell horrible, toiltes blocked, showere flooded. The linen is all stained, towels look like they're 100 years old. All rooms have mouldy bathrooms. Air cons kept stopping. Bali had power failure for a couple of days, Nathan hotel has no back up. Breakfast very limited. No proper restaurant or bar. The only thing good about this hotel is the staff. All great. Would not recommend my dog to stay there. It is a low budget hotel, and I know you get what you pay for, but this place was absolutely horrific!!!! The worst 2 weeks spent in Bali ever!!!!

huono
Soitimme Singaporesta saadaksemme haun kentältä kyytiä ei järjestetty. Bad english. Ensin meille tarjottiin huonetta jossa oli parisänky. Meitä oli kuitenkin pariskunta ja mies. Vaihdoimme huoneeseen jossa oli kaksi sänkyä. Siellä ei toiminut jääkaappi eikä yksikään valo toiminut.
