"Arrived mid afternoon and we were met by the proprietors and shown to a suite that was absolutely amazing. Created in the outbuildings the features of our room were tasteful and modern but retained all the charm of this historic building.There was no restaurant or bar area but just a short ride into town there are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. "Fantastic hotel with great views of Modica below. There is a pool and beautiful patios. Breafast was included and excellent. If you are in shape, you can walk down to the center in less than 10 minutes; the walk back up is a bit harder however bur we did it several times. Amazing breakfasts with local products and home made jams and cakes. Free security parking in front of building. Very nice lounge area with sofa and TV. "The hotel has an excellent location. We took the ferry from Malta and decided to stay for 2 nights. Walkable to town which has numerous shops and restaurants. The owners were great hosts even helping us with a lift to get to our rental car in Syracusa. The only unusual thing about our room was the toilet seat and cover could not be set in an up position. You had to hold it up or use your back to hold it up. Really pretty funny. Not a big deal. Breakfast was lovely and everyone around was fun. "

"The amazing host was so kind and caring. He offered to take me to the bus so I could catch it to the airport. He offered to stay and wait for me for two hours until I arrived for my late check in. He really loves the hotel and his guests and I felt so special. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a stop over to sleep and enjoy and humble experience.
