"This property was in a pefect location to explore the old town area of Annecy with lots dining and shops to visit. The kitchen was well equipped. The loft bed was a unique feature but a bit of a challenge for my husband who is quite tall. The hot water breaker required constant resets during our stay and was off when we arrived so we had no hot water upon check-in. "

"The view from this apt is amazing. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking. The communication in leading up to our stay was minimal. We often had to wait a day or so for simple questions. We had difficulty getting into wifi. Some of this was due to the influx of wifi users visiting the olympics. After the 3rd day we got access but the wifi was not secure. A handbook of how to run various appliances would be helpful (heater, towel bars, etc.) Also we had anxiety each time we used the key...

"The apartment is located in the middle of Annecy's old town - you really can't live closer to the center. It offers a fantastic immersion into the old town and has been lovingly furnished. However, there are a few points that the host could work on: There were four of us in the apartment, which is possible in terms of space, but the equipment was often only for 2 perons (cups, glasses). The fact that we had to buy additional kitchen utensils in the supermarket is of course not okay. The house...

"A well located apartment which is spacious and has great views from the large balcony and is as pictured. 15 min walk to lake and centre of the village with good choice of restaurants and cafes, we would recommend Auguste. "Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."
