"The staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us book a taxi and packed us breakfast for our trip to Machu Picchu. Even help us get passes back we forgot at the hotel. The food at their restaurant was delicious. One thing I would suggest is putting screens on the balcony doors. Overall a great place. "

"If you can’t do the Belmond in Valle Segrado, this is the next best choice. Albiet an older property, the grounds are lovely and to our great delight an alpaca on site. Our only disappointment was the concierge’s service, as this trip to MP was all new for us and we found out later there is more to see around Valle Segrado which was strangely never mentioned/suggested. "Room was very tastefully set up with local decor. There was attention to detail. Setting was very relaxing, with an internal lounge and a garden. We had a nice pizza for dinner. Breakfast was abundant and tasty: eggs, cereal, warm home made bread, papaya juice, etc. Service was very kind and speedy. Overall, very much above Peruvian standard (within this price range)"

Hidden Gem, highly recommend!

"Such a gem!! This privately owned boutique hotel is fabulous. The feel is luxury authentic. The restaurant is excellent, staff and service are friendly, helpful and overall lovely! They go above and beyond with the details- like a wool warm water bottle tucked into your bed, great for recovery after hiking!!! Rooms are spacious, bathrooms impeccable, beds comfortable, surroundings are peaceful - a little terrace off my room opened up to a water fountain and beautiful garden courtyard - relaxing to listen to the water. The lobby is even gorgeous and relaxing with tea and a fireplace. "

"I recently stayed at the Novotel in Cusco and had an exceptional experience. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. A special shoutout to Marco at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home—he’s warm, attentive, and has a great understanding of guests’ needs. The location of the hotel is fantastic—quiet yet conveniently close to the city square, making it easy to explore Cusco on foot. The rooms were spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.
