"Absolute perfection. Quiet, beautiful, cozy, and inspiring. The physical dwelling is stunning- the consideration to detail in the design is noteworthy, and waking up to the floor to ceiling window view over the lake was something of dreams. Everything delivered as promised and then some! If I HAVE to find a critique, it would be that it was a little difficult to get the kayaks/paddleboards to the water from where they are stowed, but I have a hunch the water level was super low and that issue isn't the norm. The exterior of the property is somehow more impressive than the interior, nestled in the trees and buzzing with wildlife. From morning mallards, mid afternoon Bald Eagles, to the late night coyotes howling at the moon, this beautiful spot makes it impossible to ignore your connection to Mother Nature. A truly serene escape to focus on little else than loved ones and enjoying the landscape of God's canvas. We will certainly be back! Stop thinking and book this one- unless I'm trying to schedule a trip back at the same time- then don't:) "

"This is a wonderful cabin in a secluded and quiet spot. The hosts were wonderful, responsive and helpful throughout the process. The cabin was set up with Roku TV and games and puzzles. Beds were comfortable. The overall experience was relaxing and perfect for some time away."

"Visited family in the area. This house was in a great location for us. It was very nice. Clean and comfortable. We didn’t need to contact the owner for anything but I was confidant that if I needed to it would be easy. My only recommendation is to add some wine glasses to the cabinet. 😃 "

"Our family stayed during the 2024 Eclipse, and we enjoyed an amazing experience in a beautiful location! Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. It was actually a bigger space than it looked like in the photos online. Cons: The plumbing is a little funky - the sink and downstairs toilet gurgles when you flush the upstairs toilet. The downstairs toilet was not flushing properly so we didn't use it much. I told the agent it wasn't an urgent issue and we didn't stay long enough to need a fix. There was an RO system for drinking water but it was not turned on (and you can tell it hadn't been turned on in awhile). The information binder was buried in the cabinet and when we found it halfway through our stay it said not to drink the well water - but oh well, we already were! There were some conflicting check-out instructions, like whether or not to strip the beds. The cleaners did a great job cleaning after the previous renters, but you could tell the place could use a real deep cleaning (for example, the heater vents were pretty filthy and would blow dust out when the heat kicked on). Overall these were somewhat minor annoyances for us, so we were still satisfied with the overall experience. I would still recommend this as a comfortable, lakeside cabin to enjoy a family vacation!"
