"We enjoyed our stay at the Villas by Weekender due to how central the resort is to all the action of Lamai Beach. Once you walk out of the resort you're in the middle of everything with lots to see and due all within walking distance. The great thing is that while you're on the property itself, it's very quiet and you don't get all the noise from the street. Our bungalow was comfortable and the staff were very quick to fix a small repair required to our toilet. The only complaint we had was...

"I didn’t stay at this place when I arrived and found that it wasn’t as advertised I left and found another hotel. The room was very basic although it was clean, the TV was un-watchable, there was no safe in the room it was at reception and I was told to buy my own padlock which would have been a problem at 11pm. "The positive is that is is a bungalow next too the beach... less than 1 minute walk. In addition, the Lamar beach is very beautiful. The negatives are: 1- I had a fan room and the temperature inside the room was about 35C from 9AM to 6PM... unbearable.
