"The hotel was breathtaking, however I didn’t enjoy that it was a separate unit across the street. Staffs were extremely kind and helpful. The only thing that scared us was the unexpected room service knocking. But I think it’s common for room service. I just prefer not to have room service. But overall the hotel and beach was amazing. I would love to come back to this resort. I will give it a 10/10!"

The building is outdated, though well-maintained, but the shower facilities could use an upgrade as they felt old and unpleasant. "We actually got transferred to the other Sala Choengmon due to construction noise. The whole experience was by far the best of the entire trip through Thailand. The rooms were beautiful, modern, clean, and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. I couldn’t recommend this place more!"

"Fantastic staff both front of house and bar/restaurant, they remembered what I drank be that coffee in the morning or a Sangah Beer in the afternoon. Room was cleaned thoroughly each day and reception staff organised a motorcycle for me without hesitation Beautiful beach front location with plenty of bars and restaurants but about 1 kilometre walk along the beach to Lamai town"
