The property is situated in gardens overlooking the Atlantic, catching the rising sun for breakfast and the setting sun highlighting the windmill in the west of the in the evening. "This house is conveniently placed in Tazacorte. But one needs to be fit to stay there! It is on 4 ‘floors’. The kitchen is almost in a basement with high windows. Excellently supplied but dark. Up is the sitting room and bedroom en-suite. Next the table terrace and best bedroom. But beware the bathroom is not connected and it does rain, even in Tazacorte! "The new solar panels and solar water heating did not get enough time in the sun to provide hot water and power/heating for winter. The house was very cold, our breath steamed in the mornings. In the evening the inside temperature was frequently only 12C with the heater on. It was also damp, with water running down the inside of the windows every morning and the interior of cupboards smelled musty. The bed linen and towels are old to the point of being threadbare, the double mattress has a ruck...

"We stayed for a week in this lovely rental. It is probably the most relaxing holiday-let that I have ever stayed in. All of us were happy just to spend time in the garden, with so many areas to find our own favourite space. The garden is full of wildlife - birds, reptiles and bats The colonial style house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Best pillows ever! The owners were very quick to respond to all of our queries. We all loved staying there."
