"My older mother and I spent two nights and we enjoyed hanging out in the living room which was light and comfortable. Beds comfortable and the bathroom had products and plenty of towels which always helps make you feel welcomed and at home. The chocolates did too! We had a lovely stay."

"Simon and Lin were excellent hosts. Simon was there to greet us and hand over the keys. Everything about the property was spot-on. Kitchen was more than well equipped. I would certainly return to the same property if I were to return to Port Macquarie. Simon even allowed an extended check-out. Excellent."

"This was my second stay at the Hideout which is located near Wauchope and near walking trails in state forests. The house was immaculate and I received a warm welcome from the owners. Of particular mention is the wonderful down quilt on the bed. My little dog wandered around the grounds safely and enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the world around him."

"This charming house was the perfect getaway we needed for a few days by the surf and sand. The house was lovely and clean although a little aged with some minor repairs needed but all cosmetic (missing cupboard door, the blinds on the back sliding door dont work and the dishwasher screen wouldnt turn on so i couldn't use it) We will be back again for sure!"
