"This was one of, if not the nicest hotel we have stayed in. The staff was incredibly helpful. Our room was impeccable with comfortable beds, heated bathroom floor beautiful balcony with view of Lake Geneva. We did not care for the restaurants, but that was our personal choice. With the public transportation being as good as it is in Lausanne, I would prefer the next time staying farther away from the hustle and bustle. "If you are arriving in Lausanne by train, the hotel is conveniently located between a couple of stops on metro line 2. I chose a double room rather than a single and therefore had a significantly larger room for very little additional money. The air conditioning didn't work and the fridge didn't keep anything cold. "Our small family of three stayed here for one night. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and let my husband and son hang out after check out while I searched for cough medicine. Location is terrific if you like cities! We had a wonderful dinner at a nearby Eritrean restaurant and walked to L’Hermitage museum the next day. It’s not a luxurious space but that’s not the charm. We loved it and would stay there again. "
