"There were not curtains or black out curtains on the windows. The mirror had emotion detection led lights and as I was trying to switch them off I found a syringe, thankfully without the needle. I'm very disappointed with the overall condition of the room."

"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"We had a two night stay at the Fountains Guest house. Great location to walk into town and we managed to get a space on the rear car park. Smart entry system worked well so no need for room keys - a bonus . Super comfortable bed with modern bathroom and shower - small bathroom but perfectly adequate. We loved the availability of fresh milk in small flasks for the room if needed and well stocked hospitality tray . Breakfast was delicious- everything we needed and friendly service . Highly...
