"This chateau is nothing short of fabulous. The owner, Phillipe, is gracious and generous. The chateau itself is gorgeous and close to the small town of Evreux. I recommend going kayaking on the Eure river. It all makes for a relaxing respite from the bustling, overwhelm of Paris. Only one hour away by train, this place is absolutely a gem. I can't say enough about how great of an experience it was."

The spacious rooms with high quality fixtures and fittings where amazing. Located in a quiet area, but also central to places to visit, with local shops and attractions all within ready reach. "A wonderful tranquil place to stay. The location, house, room and gardens were so lovely. Our hostess was very welcoming and the breakfast was lovely with plenty to eat. Definitely would stay again. One minor niggle was that only tea, coffee and milk were provided in the room on the first night. Normally these would be replenished each day, so we had to go without drinks on our 2nd night. "
