"This is a rural restored farm house. We used it as a base for a day trip (3.5 hrs) to Andorra while being able to make it back to Paris in a day. Visited some nearby wineries as well! Breakfast was good. Room and bath clean with nice hot shower. Only issue was lack of ventilation in room. No ac so had to open windows ( without screens) until attacked by mosquitos!"

"We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. An easy walk into Gaillac for dinner (bring a torch) and not far from routes to Albi and Toulouse. Breakfast outside in the shade of trees and the company of other guests and our hosts was delightful. Croissants, bread, homemade...

"What an amazingly, beautiful, hotel and Emilie the absolute perfect host. The attention to detail is first class and no effort is spared to make your visit memorable. The bedrooms are superb, the bed is ultra comfortable, the bathroom with walk in shower excellent and thecair conditioning given it was 35 degrees outside such a delight. "A beautiful, quiet and charming guest room in the loveliest of setting. Not far from Albi about 1.5km from the main road, down a rural side road, Hameau de Taur is a wonderful place to stay. Even though communication was difficult because our French is not good and our hostess had no English we had a most pleasant stay. Breakfast was included and was easily the best breakfast we have had in France, crepes, coffee, juice and apple tart. Highly recommend you stay here if you are passing through...
