"12/30/24- HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY. We had to catch a train at 5:55 AM. Cit'Hôtel le Welcome was the perfect place for it. Really less than 5 minute walk to the train station, therefore easy access to both the train and the Altibus to the ski stations of the Savoie! We did not spend much time there to enjoy the area, and the proprietor seemed very nice. We were in and out very fast. Quiet area, clean room with the necessary essentials. "If you don’t have a car, it is very difficult to get around as taxis and uber are limited in the area. We had multiple taxi drivers say yes and cancel. Rooms are dated and weird smell coming from the carpet. With limited transportation, we chose to eat at the hotel restaurant which was not good. About a half hour drive for most of the skiing but a good location to be able to ski at different areas each day. "2 Grand parents 3 grand children We took the appartment for 12 !! # brilliant - bike rides ,tennis,walking, Sunset Beach Restaurant a short drive lovely staff even better food at extremely reasonable prices The only problem was the outdoor pool ( open until 30 Sept) was closed And rthe uindoor pool- open all year round was also closed A big disappointment for the kids -a bit less so for me !!"
