Lake Erie's charming 4 season Lake Houz with BBQ, Fire Pit & more

Our LakeHouz is 4 Season & accommodates up to 6 people w/ 2 bedrooms including a spacious loft with king bed , electric fireplace, workspace, smart TV, mini fridge & private Ensuite with Jacuzzi Tub & stand up shower… a perfect little retreat with great lots of windows and gorgeous views Sunrises on the lake. The main floor bedroom has a comfy Queen bed & quality linens, lots of drawer space & walk-in closet.

Our spacious family room includes a wood burning stove for those chilly fall / winter days and evenings, a Queen size Murphy Bed, smart TV , a large family friendly coffee table perfect for the family to sit around for hours playing games or just hanging out. We offer plenty of books, magazine, puzzles and games… something for everyone, including children’s books & crossword puzzles.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with spice rack, mixing bowls, air fryer, hand mixer, rice cooker & more! The dining table seats 6 + 3 bar stools for gathering around the island with family & friends. We also have a fun high top bar/ table for a cup of morning Joe overlooking beautiful lake views, Watching ducks and fishing boats on the lake, this table also doubles as a workspace fitted w/ a power bar & USB charging.

Our living spaces are all designed with family and friends gathering in mind. Each area is spacious enough for everyone to hang out, including our fun sunny Screened in porch perfectly fitted with a bar fridge for extra drinks, a comfy conversational set, patio table for meals over looking beautiful sunsets, coat & boot rack, and more games & magazines living rooms.

Our outdoor spaces include a propane BBQ, fire pit, outdoor dining for 6, and more.
Our LakeHouz has been coined a birders paradise with the most beautiful views of sunrises & sunsets… It doesn’t hurt that we’re Neighbours with local Birding guide and expert “Pelee Birding”.

This isn’t just a cottage. It’s truly a home away from home and offers all the comforts you’d want & more. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do and as much our guests have since August 2022 … making memories for years to come

Great Stay!
We had a wonderful time. It was exactly what we expected. I enjoyed sitting on the deck while reading my magazines and listening to the water. A nice bonus was the great view from the couch too! I could still see the water while relaxing inside when the weather got chilly. There are so many great spots in the house to retreat and have your own space. The only negative was a gift from Mother Nature. There were so many little flies. I am a girl from the suburbs in Texas so this maybe normal around The Great Lakes. We all agreed we would stay here again!!!

End of Summer!
The Lake Houz is a comfy, cozy cottage situated over looking Lake Erie. It has everything you need and then some for your stay. The upper deck gives you the feeling that you are actually on the water. Great location for morning coffee or that afternoon glass of a local wine. Sunrises & sunsets were spectacular! Great communication with the owners. The location to Point Pelee National Park is a short 7 minute drive - great park to explore. Close to Leamington as well which can meet all your needs. Would recommend!

Very Relaxing
Clean and very well equipped property on the lakefront. Close to town but far enough away to be extremely quiet. We enjoyed a lot of local fresh fruit and vegetables. Picking up fresh Pickerel in Wheatley was a bonus. For dog owners, there is a wonderful off leash dog park close by. All in all a great stay.

Absolute Gem!
The property was lovely and the view over the water was breath taking. The host thought of everything! Beautiful cottage with very thoughtful decorating, such a gorgeous place. Close enough to amenities but a nice quiet spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This rental was perfect for us. We arrived and found it extremely clean and in perfect condition, ready for an amazing cottage weekend. The outdoor spaces are unreal, the view is beautiful (sunrises were amazing) and we spent so much time outdoors. The hosts were so easy to communicate with, personable and kind, and made every effort to ensure we had an amazing time and they made everything very easy for us. We are so grateful! Very cozy residence
We were there to bird. We had a few days of bad weather and hole up in the houz. It was so comfy. I don’t think I’ve weathered out storms in more comfortable digs. Nights were dark and quiet, making for sound sleep. The kitchen was well equipped and meal prep was easy.

Very pleasant place to stay! I wish we had a little extra time to sit on the dock or play the giant Jenga in front solarium/covered porch. We still managed to have a campfire after our birding excursions at least. I definitely recommend staying here if you can and we'll certainly consider coming back here in the future.

This cottage proved to be the ideal retreat for us, two hardworking small business owners in search of a sanctuary for rejuvenation. Regardless of the weather, this haven offered comfort and solace. With the wood stove ablaze, I managed to immerse myself in my book and indulge in delicious snacks prepared in the cottage's exquisite kitchen.The addition of a jetted tub was an enjoyable luxury, and I eagerly anticipate our return. I can only envision the cottage's allure in the summertime. At moments, with the massive waves crashing against the rocks, it almost felt as if we were seaside. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and maintained excellent communication.
