"Rented this property for Memorial Day weekend to be within easy drive or Pedernales State Park, Balcones Wildlife Refuge and the local wineries in the area. As the review title states....this experience was a mixed bag. I can't say there was good and bad, rather there was good and somewhat frustrating......but not bad. The Good: Property is definitely unique. Very clever setup and we didn't feel cramped being just the two of us and two small dogs Appliances are new and the hotplate and toaster...

The well water is extremely salty and not drinkable. we lost a day of being able to use the pool and all of the shower and sink water is well water which was not described in the bio. The host got the pool cleaner to the house and had the pool ready to use within 8 hours of arriving which we appreciated. Other than that the house was great. "

"We spent our annual Thanksgiving family reunion week at the Estate on Lake Travis. It was a great week. We've been doing these reunions since 1991 and there were several comments that this was one of the best. The accommodations were great and allowed everyone to come together or spread out if needed.
