"The property internally was very good but needs some finishing off. Property full of flies. VRBO advertised property inclusive of use of pool and hot tub. Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. Pool was cleaned on arrival, Wi-Fi was repaired following day. Grass was not cut. The owners dog used the long grass at the end of the pool to do it’s business. We will not return to this...

"Arrival - we found the property with no issues. Property zip code took us straight there. Bedlinen and bathrooms were clean. Flies were a problem, mushroom growing in the shower, tiles in shower need updating and replacing, door latch plates were all loose (made doors difficult to close), we didn't manage to get the tv working at all, light fittings in the kitchen were hanging dangerously from the ceiling, oven very dirty and difficult to light (think the gas jets needed a clean - i gave up),...

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much."

"Idyllic setting in a tiny village surrounded by farmland. Plenty of walks with very little traffic to worry about. Small town nearby with a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. Historic town of Cognac under an hour away with plenty of shops and bars. The property itself is superb. Very well kitted out with everything that you could possibly need. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect place for a bit of quiet time and a place to relax. Heated pool and a games room with snooker table...

"pas de contact physique avec la proprietaire maison sale ,télé ne fonctionne pas ,-beaucoup de fuites d eau(wc-salle de bain vasques-) pas d eau chaude pendant -1 mois et demi -bouteille de gaz vide-que j ai du remplacer a ma charge malgré les relances avec la proprietaire aucune action elle nous méme en bateau et promet beaucoup de choses mais rien hélas rien les prises de courants sont décollées -beaucoup de jouets pour enfants qui encombres les chambres la clé se trouve dans le pot de fleur...

"We had a wonderful time. Stephane met our early arrivals to let them in and the whole party of 24 - great grandparents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins all enjoyed the lovely pool and grounds- with plenty of space for cricket, badminton and board games. Stephane was very helpful when the dishwasher didn’t work- coming up to replace it immediately. We had wonderful weather and really enjoyed Kayaking in Lusignan. We would love to return"

There is also a small shop that sells local crafts/art/honey which is such a fabulous idea to support the local people. The owner Yohann as always was very welcoming, excellent communication prior and during the stay if you require his assistance. He ensures your time at the mill is as enjoyable as possible. You won’t regret booking this gem of a property. "

Great family-friendly Farmhouse with pool on large site. Peaceful rural region.

A perfect holiday experience

"Our stay at Mossy's beautiful house in the French countryside was perfect. After a long drive, we were warmly welcomed by Mossy who had thoughtfully prepared a welcome basket which was exactly what we needed. He was kind and attentive, yet respected our privacy, allowing us to fully enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. We were two families with 4 children between the age of 7 and 15. We all enjoyed the house that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We spent our days enjoying the swimming pool, playing football, table tennis, having BBQ's in the spacious garden. The game room was a highlight, where we held fun family tournaments in darts, pool and baby football, creating memories we will cherish. The nearby village of Nanteuil was a short walk away, we loved exploring its charming streets and picking up fresh bread in the morning. Mossy and his team were available if we needed anything. Their hospitality made our stay enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday and would highly recommend this wonderful property."

"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families.
