"This property sustained significant damage from the hurricanes but they are expeditiously making all necessary repairs and improvements. The property is probably absolutely beautiful when the foliage and landscaping is in tact. The pathway from our specialty sun deck second-floor unit was a quick super short walk to the magnificent beach. On-site, office staff is very, very friendly and accommodating. The studio was adorable and tastefully decorated ~ appeared to be new and excellent condition. It was about a 4 mile walk down the gorgeous beach to Siesta Key Village, where we found a few decent restaurants. Not too impressed with the “village”. Other than that, there are no nice restaurants within walking distance that we found but the trolley stop is just across the street. There is a pizza place across the street as well as a breakfast place so we did grab some takeout . No ambience and either of them but Turtles Restaurant on Sarasota Bay was a quick five minute drive away and that was fantastic! We will definitely return after repairs are completed. Loved the beach! Thanks for a lovely stay. "

"Very pleasant, comfortable and clean. Close to Hamel Park and restaurants. Everything is brand new inside the rooms, roomy, comfy bed and big TV mounted on the wall. Air conditioner is quiet and has a continuous fan. Kurig coffee machines in the room but no breakfast. It’s a great choice and reasonable price. "

"After living in Sarasota for more than two decades, I had never stayed here until recently, and I’m so glad I finally did! Having worked in hospitality and property management for decades, I always notice standout service, and I just have to share my experience. First of all, the front desk team was incredibly helpful and kind, but one young lady, Zenaida, truly went above and beyond. Her professionalism and ability to not only meet but exceed expectations were incredibly impressive. The rooms appear to be newly renovated, with furnishings and decor that perfectly complement the vintage theme of this resort. The poolside area, the Baji Hut, and the incredible history of this property all contribute to its charm. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots, whether for my next event, a mini staycation, or simply a day by the pool. This amazing little place has it all. "A little mix up on after hours check in but they made it right with waived fees and went out of their way to make the stay was superb. The property is cool with attention to detail on every aspect of beach life. Best place on Siesta Key and one of the most fun places I’ve stayed in my 70 years. Recommend highly In the middle of everything. Walkable to numerous Bars and great restaurants "
