"I found this hotel last year, on my first trip to Hamburg. The staff is lovely and the hotel beautiful. I love how simple it is. The beds are super comfy too. The train into the city is just outside the door, but honestly it’s about a 20 minute walk to the city center and a safe walk at that. They have always been accommodating and helpful, even had my room ready early. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

Check-in experience was very poor: I arrived and there seemed to be a problem, with three staff behind the counter struggling with the system, muttering between themselves. I have no idea what the problem was because they did not explain. After about 10 minutes they were finally able to check me in. I think the location is not great - next to a big road and it did not feel very safe outside"
