The hotel is very nice. My room was spacious with a big bathroom. However, the TV set was too small (it is like a computer monitor that was hanged on the wall). This was something that needs upgrading. The breakfast was great with lotd of varieties.

Stay for the proximity to stuff
The reason to stay here is due to proximity to transit via Restauradores Square and attractions like Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara (which is a 5 minute hike uphill or a funicular ride up). The room was clean though some repairs are needed to the door and floors. The towels always had a strange smell to them. The A/C is odd to work with. Due to the place being on a side street off the funicular line, there isnt much of a from your room. As far as food, they do offer a breakfast but unless you have no time for food, just go outside and walk 5 minutes in any direction you will find something cheaper and better.

Pleasant staff, good room with air con, good variety at breakfast, ideal location. Our room at the back was a reasonable distance from the opposite building. Some construction works nearby that meant limited access for taxis.

Property was clean and close to the main tourist area. Air conditioning in rooms was not working and made our stay really uncomfortable. Rooms needs instructions on how to set the thermostats. Check in process needs to be improved.

Location is very good. Easy walking to Rossio Square. At the bottom of the Gloria funicular. Walk to the top for a panaoramic view of the city and castle. Hotel did not respond to questions sent through Expedia app or by direct email. Disappointing because the were about checkin times. Staff in dining room were excellent. Front desk service also excellent.

Room 304’s bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship’s. The window was looking out to a concrete wall. This place is very dingy and dark with terrible customer service.
