"The property was better than expected. Lots of space to spread out. The back eating area is very windy (not the home owners fault), but the view is beautiful. There are two other wonderful sitting areas that have no wind. Location is great. We didn’t try walking to the beach, but seems walkable. Grocery store is very close which is nice as well."

"It was very spacious and comfortable.The house had a wonderful pool and a sea view. You would need a rental car. The security guard station was really dedicated to who comes into the community. Only draw back was there were many stairs or step down to rooms so You have to be very mindful. This house is good for active family but not for the elderlies. Overall, my family was very impressed with all the architectural details and we would rent again. We had a great stay. The price was reasonable...

"The Pearl of Jan Thiel is truly that. Modern villa, clean and well appointed. Landscaping of property provided ample privacy whether in the palapa, the pool or outside seating areas. While we had no issues, staff was available, friendly and attentive. Would definitely return to and recommend this property. Helpful things to know: House is one of four mirror images of each other on the property. Rental car recommended - walk to beach is downhill but return obviously not."

We enjoyed our breakfasts out on the beautiful patio every morning and the house is in the perfect location for excellent dining or trips to the beach. Mireille, the property manager, was very kind and responded quickly to any questions or concerns. "The property is nice but has not been maintained properly as advertised. Wash machine broken, pool has a leak, need paint job, dishwasher was so old not sure worked or how to, no toaster, the big burner on stove kept puffing and turning it off making it very difficult to cook bc only big burner (gas), door for car to enter yard for parking broken, NO ocean view whatsoever. we always rent in curacao, first time disappointed.
