"Worlds Nests far exceeded our expectations. The views, the sweet garden and babbling water, just exquisite. The staff was friendly, helpful and generous. The breakfast spread was tasty with great options. You could stay here much longer. They also have great bikes right onsite!"

"This is one of the most beautiful hotel locations we have ever stayed in. Melded with beautiful gardens and geothermal soaking pools that were open only to guests after 5 pm was magical. Our room was huge, the breakfast was amazing and we had one meal in the main restaurant and one more causal dinner at the outside bar. Both were delicious and reasonably priced with staff that were so friendly and enjoyable. We rarely plan to visit a country twice, too many places to see, but we would come back to this hotel in Furnas at some point if we could. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautifully renovated home in Nordeste. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into every detail of the property. The outdoor space is truly incredible — spacious, peaceful, with breathtaking views and beautiful sunrises!The host, Vera, was exceptionally responsive and welcoming. We were greeted with a generous welcome package that included delicious local wine, cheese, snacks, and coffee — such a thoughtful touch that made us feel instantly at home.Inside, the home was spotless and tastefully furnished. All the linens and towels were of very high quality, which added to the overall sense of comfort and luxury. We also really appreciated the separate laundry and drying area.The location was great for exploring the northeast region of Sao Miguel. Restaurants in Nordeste were about 5 minutes drive and markets in Lomba da Fazenda were also close by. The home is close to Ribeira dos Caldeiroes park (where we arranged a canyoning excursion), Poço Azul, Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego as well as Arnel Lighthouse.Highly recommend and would love to return!"

"Our stay at Octant Furnas was simply amazing. The setting of being surrounded by garden made us feel super relaxed and was extremely peaceful. All the staff were super welcoming and attentive. There were many little touches that made our stay perfect. The pools were amazing. The room was super spacious, clean and conducive to great sleeps. We would definitely love to come back."
