A small hotel, no miles of corridors, personal service and tasty healthy food nicely presented. We enjoyed walking to and from New Barnet station. Quiet at night, really comfortable. A real gem in a residential area with no competing venues. A few local shops with Sainsburys and Waitrose a short drive away. Suggest if you're over 70, a car would be handy as it is on a hill.

Had room 3 which was supposed to be a superior room. It’s over the bar and front of the property and is so noisy. The doors bang shut so you hear everyone going to bed and getting up. Asked to me moved, they said it was full, however rooms still available online…. The bedding smelt fusty as though it had not been dried properly. It said King size and was just two singles pushed together with a larger duvet and sheet. Breakfast was good as was the lady that served me. Have stayed before but not sure I will again.

I felt when sport was playing in the bar the restaurant should of been open to guests so they could have a quiet dinner. The menu was limited with burgers and salad. The staff where lovely and welcoming and the hotel was okay for the price.

Staff were fantastic and the full English was hot fresh and tasty. Our room was really good a touch of grout needed between a couple of floor tiles in the bathroom and the handle was loose but apart from that we had a fantastic stay.

We loved staying here. The staff were so kind and helpful and it felt safe and comfortable. The room looked like it could use a little more vacuuming and the pillows were kind of hard and lumpy, but other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Good breakfast - friendly.
Friendly staff. Superior double - big room, miniscule bathroom. Comfortable bed. Effective and quiet Aircon. Well cooked full English breakfast with good portions cooked to order. Any additions apparently chargeable but more than sufficient for us not to need extras. About 20-25 minutes walk to High Barnet tube. But up and down quite steep hills. 5 mins from bus stop that goes to station. From High Barnet about 30 mins to central area.

Nice place
One night business stay. Room was nice and had air conditioning. Missing the remote for the TV but not the end of the world. It is located within the ULEZ so factor the additional cost into your stay (I didn’t). Menu for evening food is very limited but the quality was good. Breakfast was a little slow but again the quality was good. I would stay there again.

Stay at this hotel. You won’t be disappointed
Hotel was very good, staff polite. An excellent location for getting out and about. Breakfast was very good and plenty of food. Downside of breakfast was only having one tea / coffee included within the price. Additional tea /coffee was charged as extra. Only other issue was not able to check in till after 12 noon. This is quite late, especially if you wanted to visit London and make the most of your day trip.
