"This little house by Lake Shawnee was a great launching off point for seeing family in the area, touring museums, and most of all resting from the Holidays. Walking the dog along the lake really helped me decompress from the Holidays and recenter and reset for the new year. The inside of the house was exceptionally clean. Backyard could benefit from a leaf raking. That said, I highly recommend this place."

"I have used VRBO MANY times but this rental was just totally weird. In this 2 bedroom apartment there were 2 rooms with renters and/or the owner around too. Each renter had a bedroom and the living room and kitchen were communal. I used neither. Each bedroom door had it's name written on a piece of paper thumbtacked to the door. The kitchen had the owners food and "stuff" in it and there were no lights in the kitchen, counters or fridge! I had to use my phone. When I saw it was already in use I...

"I liked the cleanliness and convenience of the location. Staff were very courteous and helpful. I didn’t like having to go down to the lobby to use the one microwave when I had a king suite with a refrigerator. Nor walking through poorly maintained parking lot that was covered in snow. The snow plow did a poor job leaving many areas unplowed making the area treacherous. Fortunately, the maintenance salted the sidewalks which was appreciated. "
