"What a stunningly, beautifully positioned hotel, right on the water`s edge. I would most definitely recommend staying in the Florence Suite as it oozed pure decadence with its own balcony and roll top bath with panoramic views of the estuary of the River Fal. It had everything we could need for a totally relaxing couple of days. "

"Amazing location in walking distance of St Ives centre with beautiful views and gardens. Super helpful and friendly staff through out the hotel. The room was recently refurbished with fresh modern look, and was clean, quiet and easy to get a good night’s sleep. Dinner in restaurant was fabulous. A few wonky things meant a reduced score on some of the criteria. In particular the heating was frustrating as it was centrally controlled and no air con, so difficult to get a sensible temperature in the room. The indoor pool is tatty around the edges and charging £1/towel is bizarre, given we’d already spent nearly £1k on a few nights stay. These were minor niggles however, in an otherwise fantastic experience and wouldn’t put us off coming back. The hotel clearly has 4 star ambitions and I hope they continue to invest to rightfully achieve that status. "

"Perfectly situated within east walking distance of town centre, sea front and other facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful in lots of different ways, breakfast very good indeed (lots of choice) and rates very reasonable. I booked because Premier Inn full but next time I would have this as first choice."

"Lovely hotel with a fantastic location , rooms very comfortable and clean . Excellent value for money . One side note is please allow an extra £9 per day parking fee as hotel does not have parking and you have to use beach car park opposite."

"Had a wonderful stay at the Penmere Manor Hotel for a short 4 night stay in Falmouth. Everything was perfect for what we needed including being able to sit and have an evening meal when we arrived. The location is great. Staff were really friendly and helpful. "
