"We had a really lovely stay at the finca. It is in a beautiful and peaceful location up in the hills, which is what we were looking for. It is not in the main tourist area which we appreciated and the local town was very nice. Its not the sunniest spot as is north facing and in the shadow of Mt Teide in the winter time, so sunshine hours were limited, but we were happy to drive to get to more sunny places in the day time. "The Finca Delicias are a small group of converted farm buildings located in a banana plantation near the beach and rock swimming pools of Alcala. The house was well presented, creatively furnished, and well equipped with generous amounts of space indoors and out. Incredible views of the ocean with the sun setting behind La Gomera each evening. The overall sense of tranquility and privacy was a welcome change from Costa Adeje."

"The property was perfect in every way. Unfortunately the satnav couldn't find the house. We phoned the owner who didn't speak English and I don't speak Spanish. We found a taxi rank and asked them to take us and we would follow and pay them. He couldn't find it either, so he spoke to the owner who came and met us and we followed him. He was very helpful - considering it was now midnight!! Other than this everything else was great. A very steep climb down to the town."

"Host is very helpful and supportive. The cottage has a great interior design with an antique touch and interesting wallphotos showing the area. Exterior is super. With a barbeque area with a n outdoor kitchenette .The area itself is close to the town and the three city of Porto de la Cruz is close. Only problem was that our GPS always showed the worst way to get to the south side.. .We enjoyed our stay."

"Séjour en février 2025. Le site est très calme à 700 m d'altitude et 10 minutes du centre d'Icod, très joli. Sentier de randonnée au pied de la maison. Nous avons adoré les petits-déjeuners au soleil sur une terrasse atypique avec une vue superbe : la mer au nord et le Teide (encore légèrement enneigé) au sud. Maison vraiment typique et très belle.Cependant, l'annonce est incomplète et voici ce que nous aurions aimé savoir avant d'arriver :- la cloison séparant les deux chambres ne va pas...
