"My husband, dog and I stayed here for my birthday week. It was wonderful. We loved playing in the beautiful clear lake and having a nice deck to come back to for having lunch or dinner before going back to the water. The house has all the amenities you could need for a stay. They had plenty of spices to cook with, ziploc bags, foil, wax paper, cling wrap, and lots of plates, cups, silverware and utensils for cooking. The house is very cute and set up for larger groups if you have them. We stayed during a time of meteor showers and it was amazing being able to sit on the deck in the dark and see so many stars and meteors! Lastly, the beautiful sunrises, sunsets and amount of wildlife we saw during our stay was worth every penny! "

"The view is absolutely stunning! We spent both nights on the deck enjoying the lake. We really loved the location because it was only a little over a mile from Lost Bridge Marina where we rented a boat for the day. The house is nice but it could’ve been cleaned up a bit more before we arrived. The house has a ton of potential but could use some upgrades. "
"The service provided was out of this world. Felt more life family helping than staff. The building is definitely starting to show its age and could use a few updates. It is out of the way of anything so I would recommend bringing some microwable food but that means it is perfect for an escape from the hustle of life and a peaceful retreat. I know it's advertised as a wedding and event destination but I do think it should be more of a retreat destination. "

"The property manager was very communicative prior to the stay and responded quickly when we had a question during our stay. The property is exactly as described and was very clean. Yes, it has a smell as others noted but this was just a camping outdoorsy smell that one can expect when staying in a cabin. I found that once we ran the AC for a bit the smell was gone. Overall would recommend and would stay again! "
