"Great stay, its an historic property and served its purpose bringing my whanau together and we made memories. The hosts are very good to talk to. That driveway was scenic lol. Thank you for trusting us with such a beautiful home. No moans and groans from us. We heated the house up there were plenty of heaters and plenty of room to chill. Awesome time!!!"

"We wanted a base to combine relaxation and exploring, and this was excellent. A nice big table for board games, plenty of food options just down the road in Petone and Wellington an easy drive. Visiting Te Papa was a wonderful addition to visiting the Weta workshop and seeing WOW - the World of Wearable Art extravaganza - indeed, WOW!"

"We had a great stay here over a weekend. House is amazing - loads of character and beautifully restored and decorated. Really appreciated being able to bring our dog. I would recommend the owners give it a good spring clean, get rid of all the cobwebs and flies, give the kitchen cupboards and drawers a vacuum etc. Also would be great to make sure there were towels etc. They were promptly provided when requested but only the towels, no dishcloths or tea towels, hand towels etc"

"Beautiful house and lovely family. When I saw the room however, I asked the host to consider giving me a refund or a partial refund despite their policy. I rented for 3 nights and stayed zero minutes. The problem was, that the room felt too enclosed. The room is downstairs - I don't recall the room having windows... The Expedia/VRBO Listing shows pictures of the kitchen and the patio and the amenities you can use upstairs but when you walk up stairs and you see the family doing homework, you...

"The property is fully fenced and secure. The kitchen is well appointed and very clean. The weather wasn’t great during our stay so we didn’t use the outdoor area much. We did enjoyed a few games of pool and table tennis in the game room, which is a very nice touch to the bach!"
