"The hotel is beautiful, it could use some renovations ; curtains, new mattresses, and bathrobes. The curtains didn’t look up to part ; they were dingy. The mattress I slept in had bumps in it and it was very hard. I think they are due for a change. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful. I think that I overlooked any failings just because of the things mentioned above just because of the staff. It was a wonderful stay. "

I particular shout-out to Elizabeth who checked us in and was particularly kind after a long day of travel. This is a small, boutique hotel, the room was spacious and clean and the Italian restaurant on the first floor is delicious and handy. Gild Hall is within walking distance of many attractions, and there are plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and even a full grocery...
