"The property has so much history, not only about the building but also about the visitors. There are photos all over with golfing greats and actors. The staff are amazing. Luke and Mark are the best. Everytime we visit St Andrew's, we always pop in for a few drinks. The food is really good. The chilli nachos are the best in town. The best room is room 1. Really large and modern. Everything is walkable. The beach, the famour 18th hole and the centre of town. "

"Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!"
