The wonderful Harbour Mews can be found just over ½-mile from Lytham’s iconic windmill and green, with an abundance of charming boutiques, restaurants, bijou coffee shops and wine bars available in around a 15-minute walk. The rolling sand dunes, pretty pier and colourful beach huts of St Annes are around a 10-minute drive as is the exclusive Lytham and St Annes Golf Club. Twitchers will adore Lytham waterfront where the Ribble Estuary provides a safe haven for more than 250,000 migrating birds that return each winter, and at RSPB Fairhaven Lake there’s access to a variety of activities including tennis and boating.
Neighbouring Blackpool needs little introduction with many famous attractions including the Pleasure Beach, Tower, Dungeon, SEA LIFE and Sandcastle Water Park. Swapping the coast for countryside, slightly further afield the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the South Lakes can be reached within an hour.
