Stayed there for 3 nights as a solo traveler. Location was convenient to the metro and walkable to most areas. Didn’t interact with staff much but they were super friendly and let me check in early. Room covered all your basic necessities and I appreciated the A/C and fast wifi. Keep in mind bathroom is private but no separate partition with room (didn’t mind as a solo traveler). Shower had a really great water pressure. Walls are a bit thin, where you can hear normal sounds from other guests (if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs). Overall it was a good place.

You honestly cant get a better hotel in Madrid for the price that you're paying! Youre literally in the heart of Madrid. With that being said, most of the tourist attractions are walking distance. As far as the hotel room, it had a Comfortable bed, strong A/C (definitely a must if you're visiting during the summer), decent sized restroom with a great shower. This is the first place I would try to book if I come back to Madrid.

I notified Expedia and hotel that. I will stay only 2 days instead of 3 days. I didn’t get a refund even though I requested 5 days before my stay. Location is good but propert is very old and dark rooms.

Nos hospedamos con mi marido en San Mateo suites dos noches por vacaciones! Si bien hay una persona en recepción, el checkin fue rápido, lo hicimos online y no tuvimos problemas. La habitación y el baño eran un tanto pequeños pero su limpieza impecable, la cama super comoda y la ubicacion muy buena, nos manejamos todo caminando! Sin dudas volveria a hospedarme en caso de volver a Madrid.
